Luís Pereira Coutinho is 23 years old and is based in Lisbon. 

He studied Naval Engineering and he is writing his master’s thesis about Maritime Transportation.  

Luís always dedicated himself to studying topics and subjects related to science, which never let him explore his creative side, however, after concluding his studies, he felt that Naval Engineering had given him a reasonably good set of skills which made him want to pursue new ones. As an avid fisherman and spearfisherman, Luís has a very strong connection with the ocean and he feels that the Roca Design Challenge has given him the confidence to address other products that might help to fight the ocean crisis faced by mankind.
