FOUNDER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR - PATRICIA BUSTOS STUDIO 

Enterprising, passionate and creative, Patricia has had a vocation for design since she can remember. She combines an analytical and entrepreneurial profile with creative skills for fashion design, art and decoration.
A painter and furniture designer by vocation, she considers herself an artist and interior designer. With a degree in Business from CUNEF and a Master’s degree in Fashion Design from Saint Martins College of Arts, Patricia has developed her aesthetic and creative sensibility through her different projects.

Enchanted by beauty, she believes that the environment has a direct impact on our mood and a beautiful environment will help us to be happy. She faces every project from a different perspective to be able to innovate and make each space unique and personal. Her aesthetic references come from her past in fashion (she worked for Inditex) to create from abstract concepts. Her clients look for singularity in her, they want their house to be unique, and everything is designed within her firm, from shelves to faucets.

Her interiors are deep reflections on a concept that is on her mind at the time. “Each project leads me to better understand the world and myself,” she acknowledges. She loves to create, imagine and dream new and different things, she is obsessed with that… newness and beauty are the two essential pillars to design a space.

Iván Cotado, INteriorista EStratégico® (Strategic Interior Designer), Designer of Corporate Interiors. He works as a professor, lecturer and blogger occasionally. He has been recently awarded at the Hostelco Awards 2018 for the best hotel interior design project and at the German Design Award 2020 in the Excellent Architecture category. He is the head of the Iván Cotado Diseño de Interiores firm since 2005.

Iván Cotado Diseño de Interiores is the first Spanish firm that focuses on INteriorismo EStratégico® (Strategic Interior Design) as a source of entrepreneurial wealth. The firm has designed the experiential showroom of CUPA, a world leader in natural slate, the clinic of Dr. Gómez Bravo, an internationally renowned plastic surgeon, and the new Árbore da Veira, the hotel complex of Michelin-starred chef Luís Veira, among others.

Their work has been recognized on several occasions. In 2018 they were shortlisted at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards, a year in which they were also awarded the Hostelco Award 2018 for the best interior design project in catering for Koh Lanta, a project for which they have just received a prestigious German Design Award in 2020, which places it among the 130 best interior architecture projects in the world according to the German Design Council.

Their motto is "We Design interiors. We create businesses", and by merging interior design and marketing they have specialized in the design of strategically profitable corporate spaces, and advocate a global interior design focused on creating viable, functional, unique and fully customized businesses.

Creators of the INteriorismo EStratégico® concept, they understand interior design as an essential part of business marketing, as one tool that must contribute homogeneously to the objective positioning of the brand. They foster that, for better or worse, interior design represents the leading role in the customer experience, and therefore has a direct influence on the bottom line of any business

CO-FOUNDER - MRGO ARQUITECTOS

Architect and co-founder of MRGO Arquitectos along with Álvaro Mesonero Romanos.

MRGO is an architecture and interior design firm established in 2018 that has designed many of the restaurants of Madrid’s most relevant hospitality groups: Grupo LALALA, Grupo Larrumba or José Luis, among others.

They have expanded their team from 2 to 13 professionals in just two and half years; carried out more than 30 housing and hospitality projects; and currently have 16 ongoing projects that will be completed before the end of the year.

Their projects have been widely published in specialized media such as Architectural Digest Spain, ELLE Decor, NAN Arquitectura, HNA Conecta, VOGUE or El Confidencial Digital.

He studied Architecture at the European University of Madrid and the Anhembi Morumbi University in São Paulo, where he took part in an exchange program. He took this opportunity to collaborate in social projects and to travel and explore South America.

Upon his return, he moved to Santiago de Chile for a year to gain experience in the Plannea Arquitectura studio and later moved to Berlin, where he worked at the Nieto Sobejano studio.

Once settled in Madrid, he shared work experience with Álvaro Mesonero Romanos at the Miguel Olazabal studio and after almost two years working on residential projects, they decided to take the leap and establish MRGO.

This entrepreneurship and the appetite for new experiences make them an energetic, honest and balanced team.

PROJECT DIRECTOR - MRGO ARQUITECTOS

She was born in Valencia and studied Architecture at the Polytechnic University in Madrid. She combined her architectural studies with her stay at the High Performance Center in Madrid as a field hockey player, a sport in which she continues to compete at a professional level, having won numerous titles.

Discipline, competitiveness and teamwork, skills she has acquired through sport, helped her to join MRGO Arquitectos in December 2018, where she is currently in charge of coordinating projects. MRGO is an architecture and interior design firm established in 2018 that has designed many of the restaurants of Madrid’s most relevant hospitality groups: Grupo LALALA, Grupo Larrumba or José Luis, among others.

Mexican by birth and Spanish by adoption, with education as an architect and interior designer by conviction.

Jean Porsche started his career in 2010, founded his studio XSCHE Arquitectura e Interiorismo in 2012 and opened his showroom The Interiorlist* in 2014.

His very special understanding of luxury, style and the combination of architecture, interior design, colors, geometries and other unique elements of design have allowed him to carry out special and very unique projects for luxury homes in Spain, England, France and Mexico.

He has specialized in signature restaurants with Michelin stars, such as Coque and Maison Lú in Madrid, Lú Cocina and Alma in Jerez de la Frontera.

He is currently working on residential projects in Madrid, Ibiza and Bath, a mansion in Menorca, a restaurant in Madrid and a private club.

The AD magazine has included him in AD100, the list of the 100 best interior designers in Spain in 2020 and 2021.
