Maha first joined ZHA in 1995 and returned to the practice in 2007 to help set up the design business under Zaha Hadid Design. She has been involved in a number of landmark product assignments and contributed to key competitions and built work. Maha has a BA degree in Environmental Design from Parsons School of Design, New York, and a Master’s degree in Architecture from Columbia University, New York. She was awarded the Lucille Lowenfish Memorial Prize in Design (1994).
