Mariana Amaral is 24 years old, was born in Brazil, and raised in Portugal. She first started studying architecture abroad in Chile for a year in 2015 (Faculty of Architecture in Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile), and then transferred to the Faculty of Architecture of Universidade de Lisboa, where she graduated in January 2021 when she completed her master's degree. She is currently doing an internship in an architecture practice based in Lisbon.

Having studied architecture keeps her in touch with different paths and related subjects, such as design (as in this case), which leads her to explore more of her creativity and learn a little of every kind of art-, design- and architecture-related subject. This creates the opportunity for her to take on new challenges, not only in discovering new ways of designing but also merging this new learning with the knowledge of architecture that she has gathered so far.
