Luís Filipe Melo is 22 years old. He was born in Cascais, Portugal.

He is attending the 1st year of his Master's in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Lisbon.

Although the design aspect of this contest,he found quite interesting how you can relate it to architecture. Architecture is a discipline that relates to all existing subjects, it arises from an anthropological need and the existence of a problem, in which it welcomes us and allows us to live in it.  He thinks it’s a way to connect people's lives and to make us come to ourselves, where various characteristics such as scale, space, light and many others, have great relevance in its definition. In the future he hopes to integrate all the values he believe in.
